On the 8th of December we will host our annual awards evening in two parts.
The P-2 Performance program will begin at 5:20 sharp with a welcome and four performances including Prep, Year 1, Year 2 and Junior Choir. Year 2 students in 2/3C will perform with year 2. All students are to be seated by 5:15pm, for a short welcome and a prompt start. There will also be a P-2 slideshow of the year's events.
Year 3 students that are in the Junior Choir will need to come earlier to engage in both the Junior Choir performance and the 3-6 Awards Evening.
There will be a 20 minute break, during the transition from the Junior to the Senior program. There will be no canteen facilities during the break or the event.
The 3-6 Awards evening will begin at 6.20pm. All students are to be seated with their year level by 6:15pm for a prompt start.
Strings students will need to arrive early to set up and tune instruments as they perform early in our program. Mr Stylianou will communicate with his students, so they know what time they need to arrive for tune up and set up.
Apart from the designated awards, the Senior Choir will perform, there will also be a 125th video and a 3-6 slideshow presentations. Our final event will be a Guard of Honour by parents and families down the centre isle for our departing Year 6 students.
· All students are to be in full school uniform. Year 6 students may wear their year 6 shirts. No sports house shirts or coloured or silly socks please.
· We expect some uniform embellishments in the Junior school to compliment their performances.
· There will be no canteen or refreshments on sale. You are welcome to bring your own snacks. There will limited space, so please do not bring eskies.
· The oval and playgrounds will be out of bounds on the evening. Students and siblings are not to bring balls or play equipment on to the school grounds.
· There will be a written program available on the evening to guide you through our Awards Night.
