​​​​Norman Park State School invites all students from Years 3 - 6 to particpate in the BYOD ipad program.

To participate families need to purchase compatible ipads that are fit for purpose, read through and sign the Norman Park State School 2023 NPSS-BYO-iPad-Charter.pdf and sign the student participation agreement located in the charter. Students who do not participate in the BYOD iPad program, may be able to access school shared devices during the school day.

An information evening will be held in Term 4 of each year for Year 2 families, sharing knowledge and processes required for BYO iPad access at Norman Park State School. Parents will be able to hear technical advice, the benefits of using iPads in the classroom and strategies to maintain cybersafety at school and at home.

The aim of the BYOD iPad program is to establish an environment where students feel supported to utilise technology as a tool for learning across ICTs, STEAM and Digital technology. Supporting Digital inovation in teaching and learning which is a system initiative of the Department's Equity and Excellence in action agenda.
