We are proud to introduce a MakerSpace room during lunchtime play for Years P-6.
What is it?
Based on the STEM (Science, Technology, English, Mathematics) model for design and creative problem solving, MakerSpace is where students can go to create, make, tinker and explore.
What makes it different than a playroom?
Students will learn flexibility in thinking, collaboration and reflection.  They will be guided to think, make and improve designs and have the opportunity for ongoing projects.  In this environment, inventive students can test their own ideas and set out to find answers.  They can make new friends and gain a sense of belonging.  They can feel less pressure and lower inhibitions about trying something new.
How do we get started?
MakerSpace will be in the library during playtime.
